SEN Unit - The Hive

Peel Brow is home to a 12-place Local Authority SEN Unit – The Hive. The SEN Unit is mainly for children with a diagnosis of Autism and those with speech, language and communication needs. The Special Educational Needs Team at Local Authority have control over allocating places to children with an Educational Health Care Plan.

The Hive is led and managed by our school SENCo, Mrs El-Boghdadly and our children are supported by a staff team with a wealth of knowledge of SEND. The Hive teacher is Mrs Ludden.

Our curriculum is tailored to meet the children’s needs and the way in which they learn and is focused on the Engagement Model and EYFS Curriculum.
