Well, What a strange time it is at the moment ! - we miss you all and cant wait until we are all back together again - I have particularly enjoyed catching up with you on the phone and looking at the great pictures that you have been emailing me showing how you have been keeping busy.
With the new half term starting we would have been embarking upon a brand new topic so I have put together some activities linking to this learning for you to try at home.
Please keep working on your spellings and writing super sentences along with counting, shapes , maths problems etc ( see the grids below to help you focus on this half terms learning outcomes) Parents please don't worry if you cant fit everything in ,these are strange times and our school team know your children well as learners and young people - we will give them all the support they need when we are back in school - Parents you are doing an amazing job.
We have a wonderful, supportive team of staff, so please do not hesitate to contact us via school email with any questions at all - we look forward to hearing from you.
Your photos, emails, videos and hearing you over the phone make me think about how proud I am to be your teacher !

Please can you help me to help your children continue their amazing reading and writing journey by accessing these phonics lessons every day. The children in Year 1 were making accelerated progress in their reading and writing because we practiced our skills in reading and writing everyday. Below you will find two incredible resources for you to use during this time, each has its own lesson resources including songs, power points, worksheets and videos. The DFE link has a fully structured lesson delivered by teachers.
