At Peel Brow we welcome children from all religions, those who do not have religious beliefs and especially those who are questioning their religious choices for the future.

Our RE scheme of work is the advised syllabus from Bury (planned in conjunction with RE Today) and it progressively introduces our children to the 3 main religions of Christianity, Islam and Judaism by sharing stories, festivals, important symbols and objects from each.

Throughout the programme of study children discuss and consider how this works alongside their own beliefs.

As a young person in our country, we know that our children are free to make their own religious choices, with the support of their family, but in order to create a cohesive community for the future we believe they can show greater empathy by also understanding key facts about the religions of their friends, neighbours and work colleagues.
