At Peel Brow, Geography is one of our Curriculum drivers within our skills-led Learning Challenge curriculum.

The skills for Geography are linked to core texts, that provide purposeful opportunities for writing and reading. These skills are then used to learning in Art and Design and Technology lessons.

We also regularly complete a local studies topic so that the children have a greater awareness and knowledge of our local landscape, as well completing topics that focus on mapping skills and the wider world.

Our Geography curriculum is progressive and each year children build on prior learning to develop their skills further.
