Welcome to our EYFS class page
We may be the youngest children at Peel Brow School but we are resilient, creative, adventurous and curious with an innate desire to learn, ask questions, achieve and laugh with our friends.
Our class teacher is Mrs Kenyon; she is kind and caring and always listens to us. She loves adventures with her own family and enjoys learning new things. She is a pink and sparkly lady with a creative flare.
Phonics is an integral part of our learning in early years and we need to practice every day. The skills we are learning in phonics will enable us to read and write. Please help us to read, share books and encourage a love of storytelling by reading with us and completing our phonics workbooks every day!
In our class we are encouraged to explore, have adventures, climb and be physically active in all kinds of weather. Being physically active help us to be healthy and will later help us to write. Wednesday is our Welly Walk Day please make sure that we have our own wetsuit and wellies that stay in school.
We have a P.E coach every Monday afternoon so please make sure that we have our P.E kits; black shorts, white T-shirt and pumps/trainers (Velcro fastenings). Our adventures make us thirsty please send us in with a water bottle.
Please tells us about your holidays and special family trips in your my world book. Complete a wow star if you have mastered a new skill and send them into school for us to celebrate on a Friday afternoon assembly.
In EYFS we learn to be independent and healthy. Please can you help us too.
