I'm delighted to be the Deputy Headteacher at Peel Brow and to teach our Y5 class in the mornings.
This is my 25th year of being a teacher and I still think it is the best job in the World. During my career, I have worked in three different primary schools; all of which have been in Bury Authority. I was the Deputy Headteacher at my last school too.
I have been lucky enough to have taught in every age range and have co-ordinated lots of different subjects. I really enjoy teaching all the subjects at school but my very favourite ones are English, Music and French.
I love music. I love singing and playing my flute which I started playing when I was 11 years old. I have also learned how to play the piano. In my spare time, I love to perform in a flute trio which also includes my daughter. I like going to the gym and playing badminton.
I especially enjoy spending time with my family, going on long walks and watching my son competing in football and athletics.
I'm really excited about the year ahead at Peel Brow; it's going to be great.
