I have been at Peel Brow School since 2010 and really love being the headteacher of such a wonderful school.
I started my teaching career in Stratford which is in the east end of London. The school where I worked is the closest school to the Olympic Stadium! I then moved to a school in Newton Heath, Manchester where I worked for the next five years. After this I joined the Senior Leadership Team at a school in Blackley, Manchester. I then moved to Hollins Grundy in Bury, where I was deputy headteacher for five years. I have also been acting headteacher (to cover whilst the headteacher was off ill) at St. Peter's in Bury for two terms before starting here at Peel Brow School.
Whilst away from school I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family. We enjoy going on walks with our family dog, Meg; who is a Cockalier (half Cocker Spaniel and half King Charles Cavalier). I also am the coach for my son's football team and I really enjoy playing and watching football.
